The results refer to three-year averages, presented using the middle year (e.g., 2002 = 2001-2003). The survey was conducted per calendar year from 2000 to 2008 and again from 2021, and per logging season (1 July-30 June) from 2009/2010 to 2019/2020. The results apply to logging carried out six years prior to the survey in Götaland/Svealand and eight years prior to the survey in Norrland. Dalarna County and Torsby Municipality were included in Southern Norrland up to and including 2021 (surveyed eight years after logging). As of 2022, they are included in Svealand (surveyed six years after logging).
